Around 150 people travelled to Metz on Tuesday 5 December 2017 to attend the gathering of professionals within the industry, hosted by the PNTTD which was celebrating its 2nd birthday.

We were joined by Marc Mortureux, director of the DGPR (France’s General Directorate for Risk Prevention), who opened the day’s events, and by our counterparts from the competent authorities in Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, as well as a number of key players in TMWs (notifiers, treatment facilities, etc.).

The primary goal of this event was to create an opportunity for dialogue while taking stock of the current situation and examining various opportunities for improvement.

From this perspective, this enriching and constructive event appears to have been a great success. In fact, according to the questionnaires handed out in the morning, 95% of respondents would like to see a repeat of this type of event.
