The list is added to and updated from time to time, particularly when new versions of the application are launched.

14. What is the maximum file size when uploading supporting documents to GISTRID?

See the table indicating the maximum file size for documents uploaded onto GISTRID : file sizes pj (format pdf - 45.1 ko - 11/05/2017)
NB : it is possible to upload “heavy” files by using a different GISTRID section than the one indicated for that file. Example : uploading the insurance certificate for the treatment facility (max. file size in assigned field : 2 Mb) into the field assigned for the route map (max. file size in assigned field : 20 Mb). NB - don’t forget to upload the route map somewhere else !

15. How can I add a transit country authority (after approval has been issued)?

In the “notification” tab at the bottom of the page, click on “Modify” then add details in Section 15 of the State(s) through which the waste will be transported, and don’t forget to click “Add”.

16. What should I do if I’ve made a mistake when completing a movement document?

Quantities received/treated cannot be modified. Instead, you should inform the PNTTD via email at pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) indicating the notification number in the subject of the email. The PNTTD will make the correction as soon as possible (though this will not be immediate).
The movement document will remain valid in the event of an issue regarding adherence to active or overall quantities.

17. How can I cancel my notification file?

If the notification is in the “draft” phase, click on “discard.”
If the notification is under review (status : “submitted” or “duly completed”), you should inform the PNTTD by email at pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) indicating the notification number in the subject of the email and the reason for the cancellation in the body of the email.

18. I’ve lost my login details - what do I do?

In the Cerbère portal, click on “forgotten password” and enter the email address for your account.

19. How can I modify the total quantity/active quantity/number of shipments etc. for a notification after approval has been issued?

The request should be sent to the PNTTD (by email at pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) making sure to indicate the notification number in question.

20. I am a notifier and I can’t find my foreign treatment facility in GISTRID : what should I do?

Send a request via email to pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) indicating the following precise information : company name / full address including country / Recovery facility carrying pre-approved status : Yes or No / Name, Surname, email address of contact / telephone and fax number (optional)

21. I am a notifier and treatment facility : can I use a single email address to manage all my accounts?

The same email address may be used for one or several “notifier” operators.
The same is true for one or several “treatment facility” operators.
However, it is not possible to use the same email address for both a “notifier” and “treatment facility” operator in GISTRID.

22. My company has changed its name and/or postal address : what should I do, and how will this affect my file?

Email your request to the PNTTD at pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) indicating the company’s full details as well as its former title.
You will then need to create a new operator account under the new address, and use this account for future notifications.

23. How can I replace/delete a contact?

  • As a user, you can do this via your user profile by clicking on the “Contacts” tab (eye) and modifying these details directly in GISTRID.
  • As a contact or where there is no user, send an email to the PNTTD at pnttd@developpement-durable.gouv.fr) indicating the contact(s) to be modified/deleted and any new contacts to be added.
